FixScan is not yet launched. Confirm all organisation details, vendors, operational practices and applicable legal requirements before making this document final.
Current status
FixScan is pre-launch. In the current website build, optional analytics and advertising trackers are not configured. The privacy choice panel records your selection in browser local storage; that is similar browser storage, not a traditional cookie.
The website uses third-party static resources, including Google Fonts and images served by Unsplash. A browser request to those hosts may disclose standard connection details such as an IP address and requested asset. The preference panel does not currently block these essential page assets.
What storage is used
The consent interface stores a small preference record in local storage under a FixScan-specific key. It records essential storage as always required, your analytics/marketing preferences, a choice label and a timestamp. It is used to remember your choices in this browser.
The current website code does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies. Hosting, security or delivery infrastructure may use technically necessary mechanisms; confirm the actual production provider and any identifiers it sets before launch.
Your choices
You may choose “Accept all”, “Reject optional” or “Customize” in the privacy panel. You can revisit or change your selection using “Privacy choices” in the website footer.
As optional analytics and marketing integrations are not active in this build, changing those toggles does not activate or deactivate an analytics SDK or advertising pixel today. If such tools are added, the consent logic must be connected so that optional technologies do not load before the appropriate choice where required by law.
Third-party services
The stylesheet requests fonts from Google Fonts and appliance images from Unsplash. These resources are loaded as part of the website experience. Review the providers’ current privacy information: Google Privacy Policy and Unsplash Privacy Policy.
Browser controls and retention
You can clear local storage and other site data in your browser settings. If you do, the site may ask for your preference again. Private-browsing modes may discard these settings when the session ends.
The actual production hosting and any additional vendors must be reviewed before launch to identify storage technologies, their purpose, duration, and how users can disable non-essential ones.
Details to complete before launch
Confirm the production host/CDN, any cookies or storage identifiers it uses, whether the waitlist provider sets any identifiers, all future analytics/marketing vendors, retention periods, regions and links to vendor policies. Implement a technically enforced consent gate before turning on optional tracking.
For questions, use the privacy contact in the Privacy Policy. That document also describes information handled by the website and waitlist.
